Hi Jim, Holly, and Stacy,
Thanks once again for the OTR tour last week.
All of the agents really enjoyed it and learned a lot about the area.
I was so inspired that my hubby and I went down on Monday; walked through Washington Park; toured Memorial Hall, and had lunch at the Coffee Emporium.
Thanks again for all your efforts, and best of luck to you selling those awesome condos!

Caroline and I both work downtown, so it’s great to be able to walk to work. It’s also great living so close to Findlay Market. I love to ride my bike there early on Saturday morning to stock up on great food. In fact, we live right in the middle (and within easy walking distance) of some of my favorite Cincinnati food: Kroeger & Sons sausage at Findley Market, Shadeau Bread on Main, Avril Bros. butcher shop on Court Street, burgers and the soft pretzel and beer cheese appetizer at the Courtyard Cafe, and Barrelhouse Beer on tap at Kaldi’s to name a few.
The architecture in OTR really makes us feel connected to the past. The new shops opening up really give the area a true neighborhood feel. My wife is addicted to the Izze drinks at Park + Vine, and we’ve been growing our own basil and peppers thanks to plants we’ve bought at City Roots. MetroNation is a fun place to browse around. We’re looking forward to shopping at Mica, and we can’t wait to eat at Jean-Robert’s new place.
We’re in love with our condo. It has a great modern design, but still feels homey. We especially love the patio and our back courtyard. Having such fantastic outdoor space in the middle of Over the Rhine was a nice surprise, and our visitors are always amazed we’ve got such a nice patio and backyard.
Our neighbors are great people, too. They all seem as excited as we are to be a part of this. In fact, I think my favorite part about living in the Gateway Quarter is the sense of excitement I feel. It’s great to be involved in something like this. It’s exciting, but we feel we’ve made a sound investment in OTR. With all that’s going on in Downtown, the Gateway Quarter, and hopefully streetcars, we feel we’ve made a smart move.
Working with Jim Moll and Bobby Maly and everybody at Model, was great. We were first time home buyers, so we had a lot of questions. They were always quick to get back to us. By the end, they seemed as excited as we were.
My wife and I are city people. We love the excitement and energy of the urban experience. We lived in Brooklyn for years, but as we are not independently wealthy, we spent many evenings at home, unable to afford to do the very things we moved to the city to do (and forget about our ever being able to actually own a place in NYC). That’s why living in OTR is so great. We get the big city experience at a Cincinnati price. |
